Snow squall warning for
Goderich - Bluewater - Southern Huron County continued
Radar continues to show flurries and snow squalls off Lake Huron. Additional local accumulations up to 10 cm are still possible today.
However the squalls are getting less organized and are expected to continue weakening this morning. Snow squalls are expected to end by this afternoon as the ridge of high pressure builds over the lakes. For snowfall accumulation totals please refer to the weather summary for Southern Ontario.
Motorists should note that dangerous winter driving conditions from whiteout conditions will suddenly develop from bursts of heavy snow and blowing snow. Quickly accumulating snow will also be a significant hazard.
Environment Canada continues to closely monitor this situation.
